Melanie Snell is an acupuncturist, holistic nutritionist, reiki master, craniosacral therapist, cognitive behaviour therapist and herbal medicine enthusiast. She is the owner of Soul Lux – Wellness Illuminated, a healthy living and lifestyle clinic based in Charlottetown, PEI.
In Canada, Melanie is certified with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist of Ontario (CTCMPAO). She is now part of The Association of Registered Acupuncturists of Prince Edward Island (AcupuncturePEI). In addition, she is a graduate of the 3-year- full-time postgraduate acupuncture program at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC, Canada (PRC). She also holds a diploma in holistic nutrition from The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN) and is working towards an herbalist certificate with Pacific Rim College Online (PRCO). In addition she holds certificates in other modalities and continuing education credits that add to the well-rounded, holistic approach Melanie takes with her clients.
Melanie is passionate about the energetic body and the pursuit to help people find themselves through mind, body, and spirit practices. Her latest knowledge quest is in western herbalism and aromatherapy by applying Traditional Chinese medicine’s wisdom. She believes that using the ancient healing arts with the current ‘modern’ therapeutic discoveries is where medicine’s real power is discovered.
You will usually find Melanie on a yoga mat or in nature foraging for wild herbs. She has a passion for learning and education and actively shares this love with the people around her. She is an active creator of workshops and group lectures.
